About

Pictured here with Icaro (courtesy of Daniel Baitch), I knew I was going to be a dressage trainer even before attending college at Colorado State University.  I trained at different barns before graduating with a degree in Equine Sciences.  From there, I moved to New York to train with Lendon Gray.  I moved up from working student to manager and assistant trainer in less than a year, learning from the very best about riding and performance horse management.
Earning my bronze and silver medals, I have competed successfully through Intermediaire 1 and have trained through Grand Prix.  I am a USDF Certified Instructor through 4th Level (2009) and am currently involved in the Introductory Faculty Program.  Travelling to Germany, I chaperoned for the Dressage Federation's Olympic Dream Program (2010).  For Region 8 I was the Chef d'equipe for the Junior and Young Rider Team (2011).  I also participated as a Roving Trainer for the Youth Dressage Festival, ridden in the NEDA Spring Symposium, trained with many talented clinicians (Lilo Fore, Henk van Bergen, Bo Jena, and more), and attended many educational opportunities, including the FEI Trainer's Conference (2012).
Currently, I have been training at Cloverlea Dressage in Columbia, CT since 2010, working with Beth Baumert.  I continue working to improve my riding and teaching skills through regular lessons and clinics and have a deep understanding of the classical principles of the training scale and its application for upper level dressage.
